Hey, I'm Michaela.

I'm a brand designer, photographer, and creative director based in Metro Detroit. I started Rova because I kept seeing small businesses with big hearts get stuck with visuals that didn't tell their story — and I knew I could change that.

My background is in graphic design and content creation, specifically in the food and beverage world. That experience taught me that great branding isn't about looking expensive — it's about feeling true. The best brands make people feel something before they even read a word.

I work with community-driven small businesses: coffee shops, wellness studios, breweries, photographers, service providers. People who built something real and deserve visuals to match.

When I'm not designing, I'm outside. Teaching kids at a nature school, shooting portraits, watching birds, drinking too much coffee. It all ends up in the work somehow.

Rova is a one-woman studio — which means when you work with me, you actually work with me.
